The holiday season is here! And it’s a great time to show the boss ladies in your life how much you love, respect, and appreciate them.
I have to admit, I’m not much of a shopper. But I know that a thoughtful gift goes a long way in expressing gratitude. And if you’re anything like me, you have at least one super inspiring creative entrepreneur you want to get a little something for.
So whether you’re shopping for your favorite client, your business bestie, or your mastermind group I’ve got some suggestions for thoughtful gifts she’ll love:
Who doesn’t love a pretty little personalized notepad? And while you’re at it, why not throw in a matching weekly planner pad? Because even though each creative entrepreneur has different needs for their main planner, some extra space never hurts.
I love the simple design of this Print Stitch & Paste notepad and weekly planner. There’s plenty of space for notes and the illustrated botanical borders add just the right amount of ornament.
2. Wall calendar
I know I’m way behind on this one, but up until recently, I had no idea there were so many lovely wall calendar options! I would love to be gifted a wall calendar that doubles as art and beautifies my home studio while being super practical.
This Rifle Paper Co. wall calendar is by far my favorite. Beautiful plant illustrations plus gold foil plus twine? Gotta love it!
3. Focus Drops
We all have those days when a million to-dos and ideas and random thoughts come flowing in and we can’t seem to focus on the one thing we’re supposed to be doing. Why not get your creative entrepreneur something to help them get over that hurdle?
While I haven’t yet tried Calm-a-Mama’s Focus Drops, I’ve tried almost all their other drops and loved them. They’ve helped my entire family and I can’t see why Focus Drops would be any different.
4. Calligraphy Kit
Creative entrepreneurs are all about learning new skills and picking up hobbies. And calligraphy is definitely a skill any small business owner can put to good use. Think of how beautiful her business thank-you cards, envelopes, and notes will be. Plus it’s Instagramable!
I’ve really only dipped my toes into calligraphy, but this starter kit by Laura Hooper looks almost exactly like what I got set up with at a calligraphy workshop this summer. And it comes in a gorgeous ready-to-be-gifted package!
5. Stamp or Wax Seal
When you finally get the perfect logo, it’s true love. You want to plaster that baby everywhere! If your boss friend is totally head-over-heels with her logo, why not help her on her journey to brand all of the things?
Stamps are pretty awesome and have become almost a standard tool in the creative entrepreneur’s toolbox. But another option is to get her a wax seal from Back to Zero. I have to admit, I stole this idea from a client friend who just took all her mail to a new level of fancy by ordering one of these. It’s amazing and adds a special level of detail to her stuff.
6. Quality Time!
I had to add this bonus one to the list because running a business can get really lonely. Especially if you’re working from home or running a one-person show. Sometimes, the best gift we can give is just a coffee date complete with a listening ear and a really good scone.
Monique at Alchemy Henna took this idea to the next level by suggesting you add another level to the coffee date, like bonding over henna or perfume making at her shop. Maybe you can treat your friend to an experience or workshop and support one of your local small businesses too!
